Why is it important to volunteer for this event?
The Scholarship Gala is our largest fundraiser, and with 500 guests attending, we need plenty of hands on deck to make it run smoothly. Volunteering also reflects our belief in the value of service and helps keep our event costs down, which means more dollars for scholarships. And it’s fun!
Can I bring a guest?
Anyone is welcome to purchase a ticket to the Gala. However, student tables are reserved for students only. Generous donors cover the full cost of your attendance, so guests can’t be seated at those tables.
What is the dress code?
Our invitation specifies evening attire, but really, anything festive that makes you feel good works! Do not wear jeans, athleisure, or shorts. And no need to buy anything new – we’d rather you rewear something you already love.

Westport Plaza Chalet Hotel

Note: Please go to the Chalet Hotel, not the Tower Hotel. Park in the lot, enter through the front doors, and head down the hallway. Staff will be on hand to point you in the right direction.
